Klario is a desktop application published by Mohamed EL Mansouri (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what data is processed when you use the Klario app and this website.
The app works locally
Klario connects directly from your machine to your Kubernetes clusters using your local kubeconfig. None of your cluster data ever leaves your machine — no metrics, logs, manifests, secrets, or cluster metadata are sent to us or to any third party. Klario has no telemetry and no crash reporting.
License validation
The only network requests the app makes outside your clusters are license checks sent to Lemon Squeezy, our payment and licensing provider. These requests contain your license key and an instance identifier, and return your license status along with the name and email associated with your purchase. The license status is cached locally so the app keeps working offline for up to 7 days.
Purchases
Payments are handled entirely by Lemon Squeezy, acting as merchant of record. We never see or store your payment details. Lemon Squeezy's processing of your data is described in their privacy policy.
Website analytics
This website uses a self-hosted instance of Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics tool. It is cookie-free, collects no personal data, and does not track you across sites. Aggregate statistics (page views, referrers, browser type) are stored on our own infrastructure in the EU.
Data we hold about you
- If you purchased Klario: the name, email, and license records held by Lemon Squeezy on our behalf.
- If you contacted us: your email and the content of your messages.
- Nothing else. We have no user accounts and no database of app users.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. Contact us at [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days.
Changes
We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above.
